CPO Certification
CPO Two-day Class
​
A 2-day course in a classroom setting is 14-16 hours long. The first day’s instruction is about water chemistry, pool calculations, pumps, filters and risk and liability management. The second day will be a review of pool calculations, and going over your state and local code followed by an open book exam. The exam may take 3 hours and you will need to score a 75 or better to earn you national certification. Your certification is valid for five years. $350
Pool Operator Primer
Pool Operator Primer™ Online Course

This online training program covers all the chapters in the Pool /Spa Operator Handbook. There are 8 lessons with test at the end of each section. You must score at least 80% prior to moving to the next lesson. You can review and take the test as many times as you like. You have up to 6 months to successfully complete the Primer course. You will need to then print your certificate of completion and then you will have up to 6 months to complete the Fusion course. You will need to present your Primer completion certificate with an instructor to gain admittance to the Fusion and to take the CPO exam. Pool Operator Fusion
Pool Operator Fusion™ Classroom Course

This one-day classroom course is often held on the second day of the 2-day class. Students must present a Pool Operator Primer™ record of completion to the instructor at the beginning of the course. Successful completion of the Pool Operator Fusion™ course will earn a CPO® National Certification. The Instructor will review of pool calculations, and going over your state and local code followed by an open book exam. The exam may take 3 hours and you will need to score a 75 or better to earn you national certification. Your certification is valid for five years. The cost for this course is $200.
